The 2010 BCLA Youth Field Lacrosse Provincial Tournament celebrates the Province’s Annual youth championships at The University of Victoria Campus, February 18-21. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the tournament being held on Vancouver Island; Thursday night through Sunday afternoon.

The week of February 18-21st; 27 teams in four age categories ranging from Under 12 to Under 19 from across British Columbia will take part in a round robin tournament in hopes of becoming the 2010 BCLA Youth Field Lacrosse Provincial Champions. This tournament is hosted by the Vancouver Island Youth Field Lacrosse League (VIYFLL), consisting of the: Victoria Titans (Victoria), Pacific Rim/Bagattaway (Victoria), Mid-Island Lightning (Duncan), Nanaimo Raiders (Nanaimo), Oceanside Buccaneers (Parksville) and North Island Ravens (Campbell River).
Fans can find support the VIYFLL in their efforts to ensure that all children and their families in this tournament have a great weekend. The tournament boasts a concession with the BBQ (Chevy Grillverado) supplied by Jenner Chevrolet Corvette. A great number of local sponsors have come forward to supply tents, food, beverages and raffle prizes.
Championship games start on Saturday night with the Under 19’s and then all day Sunday for the Under 12’s, Under 14’s and Under 16’s. Come out to UVIC and enjoy great field lacrosse action and support Island Field Lacrosse.
